<特徴>
白御影(花崗岩)をクラッシュした砂利です。
形は、チップ(砕石)状です。御影石(花崗岩)からなる砂利ですので、写真のように白色を基調とした石に黒雲母の点々とした黒点が黒ゴマのようにあり、白と黒点のコントラストがあります。こうした、砂利は、白州砂利、白川砂利などと類似したもので、その代替えとしてもご検討頂けます。このような砂利は、古くから日本庭園、枯山水などにも利用されており、馴染みのある砂利です。また、最近では、敷砂利としても用いると、ジャリジャリと音がすることから、防犯砂利としてのニーズもあります。クラシカルな砂利ですが、そんな普遍的な馴染みのある砂利をお求めなら、おすすめです。

This gravel is made by crushing white granite.
It has a chip-like shape. As it is gravel composed of granite, the stones have a white base color with scattered black mica specks resembling black sesame seeds, creating a contrast between white and black dots, as seen in the photo. This gravel is similar to Shirazu gravel or Shirakawa gravel and can be considered as an alternative to those. Such gravel has been used for centuries in Japanese gardens and kare-sansui (dry landscape gardens), making it a familiar choice.
