<特徴>
多孔質な日本産の溶岩砂です。
色は多少茶色っぽいものや赤っぽいものが混ざっていますが基本的には黒色です。
1mmもない細かい砂から4mm程度のものが混ざっています。
引き締まるような黒色と比較的均一な粒が化粧砂として優秀です。また、溶岩の多孔質性から通気性、排水性に優れており機能面でも使い勝手のいい砂です。
<おすすめの使い方>
植え付け時に用土に混ぜ込む。化粧砂としてテラリウムや鉢植えに使う。水槽の底砂として使う。丸い砂利でもなく自然に角がとれているような形状なので、自然な雰囲気がでつつ黒で引き締まるような印象になります。
排水性や通気性、保水性の調整用に用土に混ぜ込むのもおすすめです。
<注意事項>
・砂の洗いは行っておりません。水槽でご使用の際、そのまま入れると最初は濁った水になります。3,4回水を入れ流すを繰り返すと透明な水になります。
・1L=約1kgです。用土に混ぜ込む際の参考にしていただけたらと思います。
・乾くと自然な色で、濡らすと濃い黒になります。多少茶色っぽいもの、赤いものが混じっていますがそこまで目立たないかと思います。

This is porous Japanese lava sand.
While it contains some brownish and reddish tones, it is primarily black in color.
It consists of fine grains less than 1mm mixed with larger grains up to about 4mm.
Its deep black color and relatively uniform grain size make it excellent as decorative sand. Furthermore, the lava's porous nature provides excellent aeration and drainage, making it a highly functional and user-friendly sand.
<Recommended Uses>
Mix into planting soil during planting. Use as decorative sand in terrariums or potted plants. Use as substrate in aquariums. Its naturally rounded shape, not sharp like gravel, creates a natural atmosphere while the black color provides a sleek, refined impression.
Mixing it into soil is also recommended for adjusting drainage, aeration, and water retention.
<Precautions>
・This sand is not pre-washed. When first added to an aquarium, the water may appear cloudy. Rinsing it 3-4 times with water will clear the water.
